Educate your community about Product Hunt > cf our LinkedIn post. Product Hunt doesn’t like new users, but you can convert people ahead of time, the idea is to intro them PH not your launchCommunity
Share your product progress “build in public”
we doubled down on our Twitter posts (and LinkedIn + Instagram + Tiktok depending on your target). Use Tweetdeck to follow conversations on your topics
Community
Ask everyone from the team to create their Product Hunt profile and upvote at least 1/day until launch dayBranding
Build a Ship page > mixed feelings here, some people say it’s great, we didn’t really activate ours but it’s nice to prep assets.
Branding
Have a super cool website ready with clear messages - test it out on your community to ensure you have the right messageBranding
Do a swag product video, they convert much better and it should def be your best asset > our recos to do it on your own !Branding
Have a self-serve product if possible check our thread on how to build it. If really not doable an engaging waiting list (with email sent after subscription etc)
